Dawson City, YT

Stan...
The Bunk House is one of several establishments offering overnight lodging for visitors to Dawson City. Private rooms are available, but toilet & bathing facilities are "down the hall".

There is a ferry at the north end of Dawson City that transports vehicles accross the Yukon River to the "Top of the World" Highway (all gravel) over to Tok, Alaska.
The ferry can handle approximately 10 standard sized vehicles at a time, or in our case if we had chosen to cross the river, it could have only handled two 5th wheel RV units at a time.

We went together with Robert & Leslie to dinner at a very nice little Greek restaurant and then went to Diamond Tooth Gertie's Casino to take-in the stage show. After the show Robert & I had our picture taken with Gertie & her Dancing Girls.

Typical street scene in Dawson City. The Klondike Highway thru Dawson City is the only paved road, all the streets within Dawson City are gravel.
